The collaboration between the girl group UNIS, under F&F Entertainment, and the artist 乃紫 (noa) is gaining significant attention.
Their digital single 'Shaking My Head,' released at noon on the 9th, has achieved notable success by ranking on global iTunes charts. The track features UNIS members Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Elisia, and Oh Yoon-ah alongside noa.
Upon its release, 'Shaking My Head' topped the iTunes J-Pop charts in Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Canada, as well as the all-genre chart in the Philippines. It also secured the 3rd spot on the UK iTunes J-Pop chart and reached 6th place on the J-Pop charts in the US, Germany, and Australia, showcasing the powerful global synergy between UNIS and noa.
The online response has been enthusiastic, with the 'Dori Dori' challenge, aptly named after the song, rapidly spreading across social media. The lively music and catchy choreography are inspiring spontaneous participation from fans worldwide, beyond just Korea and Japan.
'Shaking My Head' is a collaboration track with a 'Girl's Date' concept, highlighting the fusion of different languages and styles from these leading Korean and Japanese artists. The vocals by Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Im Seo-won, and noa amplify the song's bright and vibrant atmosphere.
UNIS, who debuted in March last year, is currently on their first fan-con Asia tour. After kicking off the tour in Seoul this June, they successfully completed performances in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
In August, they are set to head to the Philippines. On August 9th, they will continue their tour with the '2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR IN MANILA' at the New Frontier Theater, maintaining the tour's high energy.
