BigHit Music, the powerhouse behind global sensations BTS and Tomorrow X Together (TXT), is set to introduce a new boy group. This marks the first debut from the label since TXT's launch in 2019, making it a significant event in the K-pop industry.
The new group, consisting of members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho, is scheduled to debut on August 18. These young artists, all in their teens, are part of a 'young creator crew' known for their innovative and original approach to music, choreography, and video production. They are unique in that they work collaboratively across various creative domains, including songwriting, composing, performance, and videography, without being confined to specific roles.
Even before their official debut, these talented teens have contributed to the music and choreography of their senior artists at HYBE. Martin has been credited on tracks such as TXT's 'Deja Vu' and 'Miracle (기적은 너와 내가 함께하는 순간마다 일어나고 있어)', as well as the upcoming release 'Beautiful Strangers' on July 21. He has also worked on ENHYPEN's 'Outside', LE SSERAFIM's 'Pierrot', and I-LIT's 'Magnetic'. James has contributed to the choreography for TXT's 'Deja Vu' and I-LIT's 'Magnetic', 'Cherish (My Love)', and 'Tick-Tack', and collaborated with Martin on the tracks 'Deja Vu', 'Miracle', and 'Magnetic'.
Further details about the other members and the group will be revealed gradually.
With artists like Lee Hyun, BTS, and TXT under its belt, BigHit Music's upcoming boy group is already generating significant anticipation among fans and industry insiders alike.
