Singer Park Seo-jin Opens Up About Struggles During His Early Career

Singer Park Seo-jin candidly shared memories of his challenging early career.

On the October 12th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband Season 2', Park Seo-jin's sister, Park Hyo-jung, took on the role of his manager to support her brother who had injured his leg.

During the episode, Park Seo-jin had a heartfelt conversation with his sister while traveling by car. He revealed, "I didn't have a car, so I carried clothes and makeup tools in a bag and traveled by bus. Without a waiting room, I had to endure in the restroom."

He also shared, "When I traveled without a car, security guards didn't know I was a singer and paid no attention, but now seeing my name on the waiting room door makes me proud."

He reminisced, "While other singers wore clothes worth hundreds of thousands of won, I bought a 20,000 won jacket online and added glitter from the market by ironing it on myself."

Park Seo-jin confessed to having a fear of phone calls, saying, "When I had no stage opportunities, I had to promote myself. I would see event banners and call them, pleading, 'You don't have to pay me, just please give me a stage,' after contemplating for hours."

His sister, Hyo-jung, also commented, "There were many challenges to get to this point. It's because of those times that we are here today."

Park Seo-jin continues to pursue his dreams with passion, stating, "There are still many singers who want to perform. Like them, I must give my all to every stage."
