On the October 12th episode of KBS2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang,' Kim Jaejoong's family gathering was featured, showcasing a heartwarming side of the star.
During the episode, Kim Jaejoong delighted his nieces and nephews by becoming a human amusement ride at an outdoor pool. He also impressed his family with homemade snacks.
While cooking, Kim's sister surprised him by announcing, "You're a grandfather now," as his niece had given birth, making him the first idol to become a grandfather at 39. Kim humorously responded, "Does that make Mom a great-grandmother now?"
When asked about his own plans for children, Kim Jaejoong revealed, "Ideally, I'd like to have five kids—three daughters and two sons." The panelists were taken aback, with Boom joking, "This broadcast might be a marriage death sentence for Kim Jaejoong."
Kim's father chimed in, "You need someone to live with first," while his mother added, "You need to get married before having one or five kids. Are you planning to have kids until you're 60 or 70?" This prompted laughter from his young niece, who quipped, "Uncle might cry."
Later, Kim organized games for his nieces and nephews, distributing pocket money as prizes. Given the large family, they played in teams, and Kim generously handed out cash. His father, who won 250,000 won, shared the winnings with his grandchildren and children. Kim noted, "Even my sister, who turns 60 next year, was thrilled to receive 1,000 won."
Previously, Kim Jaejoong discussed his financial status on Joo Woo-jae's YouTube channel, revealing, "I've sold and bought cars and real estate, but to achieve my goals, I'd need about 1 trillion won." He added, "It's impossible to earn that much; the system doesn't allow it." Kim also mentioned using a black card, issued to only the top 0.05% VIPs in Korea, for 12 years, highlighting his financial prowess.
