KBS announced on the 11th that they will host the '80th Liberation Anniversary KBS Grand Project – This Moment Forever with Cho Yong-pil' solo concert in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation in 2025. The concert will take place on September 6th at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome and will be free for all attendees. It is scheduled to be broadcast on KBS 2TV during the Chuseok holiday.

The KBS Grand Project is an annual event designed to offer special performances for the public during the Chuseok holiday. Over the years, it has featured legendary artists who have delivered grand performances lasting over two hours. Cho Yong-pil's concert has been one of the most anticipated performances by the public, and KBS has reportedly been extending invitations to him for several years to make this concert a reality.

Celebrating his 57th year in the music industry, Cho Yong-pil holds numerous records, including being the first to achieve a million-seller album in Korea, surpassing 10 million in cumulative album sales, winning the Japan Gold Disc Award, selling out Jamsil Olympic Stadium, and being the most featured pop artist in music textbooks.

KBS expressed their excitement, stating, "The legendary Cho Yong-pil, who spans all generations in Korea, will finally grace the stage. It is an honor to present this performance to the public as a public broadcaster."

'This Moment Forever – Cho Yong-pil' is a special project completed by Cho Yong-pil and the KBS production team, promising to be a moving performance that all generations can enjoy together.
