According to their agency, JG Star, Koyote members Kim Jong-min, Shinji, and Bbaek Ga will release their new single 'Call Me' on August 6 at 6 PM KST across various online music platforms.
The agency describes 'Call Me' as a new genre called RE-DM, which combines retro and trendy EDM. The track is composed by Choi Joon-young, who previously worked with Koyote on their hit songs 'Pure Love' and 'Broken Heart,' marking a reunion with the group.
Having showcased new sides with recent releases like 'GO,' 'Hero,' 'Half,' and 'Wind,' Koyote plans to return to their roots with 'Call Me,' capturing their original essence.
Celebrating their 27th anniversary this year, Koyote holds the title of the longest-running co-ed group in Korea. They are also set to embark on a concert tour starting in September.
Meanwhile, member Shinji, who recently announced her engagement to singer Moon Won, faced various rumors and controversies. She addressed these on a radio show, stating that marriage is not imminent, and plans to focus on Koyote's activities in August.
