LE SSERAFIM Achieves Gold Disc Certification in Japan with 'DIFFERENT'

LE SSERAFIM has added another accolade to their list with a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

According to the RIAJ's announcement today (10th), LE SSERAFIM's fourth Japanese single 'DIFFERENT' has received the Gold certification as of June. The single achieved this milestone by surpassing 100,000 units shipped within just a week of its release on June 24.

The RIAJ awards Gold Disc certifications based on cumulative shipments: Gold (100,000+ units), Platinum (250,000+), Double Platinum (500,000+), Triple Platinum (750,000+), and Million (1,000,000+). LE SSERAFIM has consistently received Double Platinum, Platinum, and Gold certifications for all their singles released in Japan since their debut single 'FEARLESS'.

Their popularity extends beyond Japan, as their Korean releases have also been well-received. Their fifth Korean mini-album 'HOT', released in March, received a Gold certification in Japan, marking the fourth consecutive Korean album to surpass 100,000 units shipped. This achievement is unique among fourth-generation K-pop girl groups.

LE SSERAFIM's success is also evident in streaming numbers. As of May, their mini-album's title track 'ANTIFRAGILE' surpassed 200 million streams, earning a Double Platinum certification. Additionally, their mini-album tracks 'CRAZY' and 'Smart' received Gold certifications earlier this year, continuing their streak of success.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is set to kick off their '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' IN ASIA' with a performance in Taipei on the 19th. They will tour Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore in July and August, and head to North America in September. In November, they will hold an encore concert at the Tokyo Dome for the first time since their debut.
