K-pop sensation Lim Young-woong is set to headline his first solo special on the popular Korean music show 'Immortal Songs'.
KBS announced on the 10th that the special, tentatively titled 'Immortal Songs - Lim Young-woong and Friends', will air over two consecutive weeks on August 30 and September 6. This marks Lim's return to the show after five years, following his appearance in the 2020 'Song Hae Festival' special. It is also his first time leading a solo special under his own name.
The special will deviate from the traditional competitive format, instead offering a healing concept that blends music and storytelling. Lim will be joined by artists he shares a close bond with, promising a diverse and vibrant performance.
The production team stated, "We are preparing a special stage for Lim Young-woong, an artist loved not only in Korea but globally. Look forward to a festival-like stage featuring Lim and his artist friends."
Since his debut in 2016, Lim Young-woong has captured hearts with hits like 'Trust in Me', 'Love Always Runs Away', 'Do or Die', and 'Warmth'. This special will offer a retrospective on his decade-long career.
'Immortal Songs' airs every Saturday at 6:05 PM.
