K-pop sensation Lee Hyori recently issued a public apology to her husband, Lee Sang-soon, during a segment on MBC FM4U's 'A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon.'
Appearing on the 'Monthly Lee Hyori' segment, the singer shared candid insights into her life. During the show, Lee Hyori remarked, "When you're on air, you have to deal with the consequences of what you say." Her husband, Lee Sang-soon, responded, "The shows featuring Lee Hyori are really entertaining. Even though we live together, what she says on TV feels different."
Lee Hyori confessed, "When you're broadcasting, you end up talking a lot about your spouse. It can be burdensome. Have I ever said anything that upset you? Sometimes I wonder if my husband might not like what I say for fun."
In response, Lee Sang-soon expressed his feelings, saying, "After our marriage, you've talked a lot about me on talk shows. To the public, I became the unemployed husband who just lazes around at home."
Lee Hyori jokingly replied, "Hasn't it always been like that?" Lee Sang-soon humorously countered, "I'm not upset at all, but I have been busy in my own way." Lee Hyori then asked, "Are you sure you're okay? It seems like you might have some lingering feelings," to which Lee Sang-soon admitted, "Maybe there's something deep down," eliciting laughter.
Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon tied the knot in 2013 and lived in Jeju Island for 11 years before moving to Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, last year. Their Pyeongchang-dong residence is reportedly valued at 6 billion KRW (approximately 60 million USD).
