K-pop group Koyote's Shinji has announced her engagement, and her agency, JG Star, has addressed the recent controversies surrounding her fiancé, Moon Won.
On the 8th, Shinji's representatives released an official statement, saying, "We are taking the recent allegations and attitude controversies surrounding Mr. Moon Won seriously."
They continued, "Mr. Moon has expressed deep remorse for his inappropriate behavior, which was pointed out by many. He acknowledged his failure to be considerate towards Shinji and his lack of respect towards Koyote members, which revealed his immaturity. He has sincerely apologized for the hurt he caused to his loved ones."
The agency also noted, "Following the announcement of their marriage, we have confirmed that numerous false rumors have been circulating. We are committed to protecting our artist and are considering legal action against those spreading false information or defaming our artist."
Addressing real estate allegations, JG Star clarified, "Regarding the suspicion that Mr. Moon engaged in real estate activities without a license, we have confirmed with the real estate office he worked with. It was verified that Mr. Moon was officially registered as an assistant and completed the necessary training with the Korea Association of Realtors."
The agency also denied allegations of bullying during his school and military days. "Mr. Moon has stated that the comments about him bullying friends or juniors are false. We contacted his former classmates and military colleagues, who unanimously testified that these claims are untrue," they stated.
Finally, the agency addressed divorce and infidelity rumors. "Mr. Moon amicably divorced his former wife. We have verified the divorce agreement and confirmed there were no unsavory reasons involved. The infidelity rumors are also false. His ex-wife has expressed her support for their happiness," the statement concluded.
