XngHan, formerly of the group Rise, is set to make his solo debut on October 31.
Utilizing the 'X' to symbolize infinite possibilities and broad crossover appeal, XngHan is launching his own artist brand, 'XngHan&Xoul.' This brand will see him collaborating with various creators, known as 'Xoul,' in a crew format, promising a diverse range of activities.
On October 31, under the name XngHan&Xoul, he will release his first single, 'Waste No Time,' featuring two new songs that he has personally performed. Anticipation is high as he prepares to take the stage.
XngHan's debut project, which officially kicks off with this single, focuses on 'performance,' one of his strengths and interests. He has collaborated with two professional dancers to bring a fresh perspective to the K-pop scene.
At midnight on the 9th, the official Instagram account of XngHan&Xoul released teaser images related to 'Waste No Time.' These images depict the narrative of XngHan and the dancers coming together under a shared interest in dance, forming a positive and influential bond as XngHan&Xoul.
XngHan debuted with Rise in September 2023 but halted activities in late November of the same year due to personal controversies. Prior to this, in August, photos allegedly showing XngHan with a woman in a hotel room surfaced, leading to widespread speculation.
SM Entertainment remained silent on XngHan's activities for about 10 months before unexpectedly announcing his return in October last year, which sparked backlash from fans. Just two days after the announcement, they retracted the statement and announced his departure from the group.
