Kwon Eun-bi Reclaims 'Waterbomb Goddess' Title with Daring Performance

Singer Kwon Eun-bi has reclaimed her title as the 'Waterbomb Goddess' with a bold performance. Despite her undeniable talent, she has once again turned to revealing outfits to capture public attention.

On the 6th of this month, Kwon Eun-bi performed at the 'Waterbomb Seoul 2025' event held at the outdoor global stage of KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Kwon Eun-bi took the stage in a white bikini paired with a cropped shirt and hot pants. Her performance of Beyoncé's 'Crazy in Love' became a hot topic. As the music began, she dramatically unbuttoned her cropped shirt, showcasing choreography that emphasized her chest and hips.

With this 'Waterbomb' performance, Kwon Eun-bi has regained the 'Waterbomb Goddess' title. Last year, although she performed at the event, the title was claimed by Jiwon of Signature, who garnered attention with a revealing swimsuit and minimal performance. Jiwon's fame was fleeting, and Signature disbanded four years after debut.

Unlike Jiwon, Kwon Eun-bi is a proven artist with talent. As a former member of IZ*ONE, she has recognition and was acknowledged for her vocal prowess during her group activities. As a solo artist, she achieved success with songs like 'Underwater,' which climbed the music charts. Her 'Waterbomb' performance showcased her strong live vocals amidst intense choreography, highlighting her strengths as a performer.

However, her public appeal has not been as strong. Despite releasing new songs and appearing on various entertainment programs, she has not produced standout results. Even her hit 'Underwater' did not make a significant impact on the mainstream.

Last year's 'Waterbomb' performance saw her in less revealing attire, which resulted in less attention. This year, by increasing the level of exposure, she regained her buzz, but it also highlighted that exposure remains a key factor in drawing attention to her. The challenge now is whether she can translate this renewed interest into lasting influence as a solo artist.
