Actor Lee Soo-hyuk shared his reasons for joining the cast of 'S-Line'.
On the 7th, a press conference for the Wavve original drama 'S-Line' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul, attended by Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Da-hee, Arin, Lee Eun-sam, and director Ahn Joo-young.
'S-Line' is a fantasy thriller drama that unveils hidden truths and forbidden desires as a red line, known as the S-Line, becomes visible between people who have had sexual relationships.
Lee Soo-hyuk plays the role of 'Ji-wook', a detective pursuing the truth behind the S-Line, while Lee Da-hee portrays 'Kyu-jin', a high school teacher with a mysterious aura behind her warm smile.
When asked why he chose this project, Lee Soo-hyuk said, "I was excited to read the script because playing a detective allowed me to showcase a different charm from my previous roles. I decided to take on the role because I felt I could present something new to the audience after filming."
He added, "I was curious about how the S-Line, which is a significant part of Han Ji-wook's character, would be portrayed. During the script reading, my fellow actors performed so well that I felt I just needed to do my part well, which motivated me to work harder during filming."
Lee Soo-hyuk also shared, "I was initially taken aback by the title. The provocative subject matter made me wonder how to portray the character and the story. Despite the provocative theme, I thought a lot about how people's behavior changes when private or hidden aspects are revealed and how each person responds to such situations."
The Wavve original drama 'S-Line' is set to release two episodes on July 11th, July 18th, and July 25th.
