BLACKPINK's recent concert in Goyang has sparked dissatisfaction among attendees.
On the 5th and 6th, BLACKPINK kicked off their new world tour, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG', at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
The group made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at the venue, drawing a record-breaking crowd of 78,000, the largest for any K-pop artist at the stadium.
However, some attendees expressed frustration over obstructed views caused by the console and large screen structures. A large tent-covered console was placed in front of certain sections, prompting YG Entertainment to install a screen. This screen ended up blocking a significant portion of the main stage. Tickets for these obstructed view sections were sold at the regular B-seat price of 132,000 KRW, while restricted view seats were priced at 99,000 KRW.
Attendees voiced their disappointment, saying, "I went all the way to Goyang to see BLACKPINK live, but ended up watching the screen," and "Shouldn't we get a refund?" The ticketing page clearly stated that refunds or exchanges due to obstructed views on the day of the concert were not possible.
Following the Goyang concert, which marked the start of their 16-city, 31-show world tour, BLACKPINK is set to perform in Los Angeles on the 12th and 13th. The tour will continue to major stadiums in cities like Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Additionally, they are set to release their new single 'JUMP'.
