On June 30, Banzz uploaded a video titled 'Last Video' on his YouTube channel, where he bid farewell to his subscribers. In the video, he stated, "This video will be the last one on my channel."
He explained, "Many people might not know the full story. I had always dreamed of stepping into the Road FC stage while working out. Luckily, I got the chance to do so. I had a match with Hyung-bin, whom I've admired for a long time. The condition for the match was that the loser would delete their channel. I accepted this condition."
Banzz faced off against Hyung-bin in a special match at 'Goobne Road FC 073' on June 28 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul. The match ended with Hyung-bin winning by TKO in 1 minute and 42 seconds of the first round, following the bold promise that the loser would delete their YouTube channel.
Banzz admitted, "I fought at Road FC 073 on June 28 and lost." He continued, "I put everything on the line, so I intend to keep my promise. This channel will be deleted on July 7, a week from now." He added, "For 12 years, I uploaded all my videos on this channel. It was like a diary containing everything about me. Although the channel will be gone, I plan to return to my roots and start anew."
Banzz started his YouTube channel in 2013, gaining popularity with mukbang and workout videos. He currently has approximately 2.05 million subscribers.
