According to Palm Tree Island, the '2025 PALMTREEISLAND 3rd GALA CONCERT' held from October 27 to 29 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Songpa District, ended with all seats sold out and standing ovations from the audience.
The concert featured eight musical actors from the label, including Kim Junsu, Kim So-hyun, Jeong Sun-ah, Son Jun-ho, Jeong Won-young, Jin Tae-hwa, Seo Kyung-soo, and Lim Kyu-hyung. The performances showcased unique stages that seamlessly connected, solidifying the identity and teamwork of Palm Tree Island's brand concert. The 180-minute performance, crafted with trust and close coordination among the performers, was praised for transcending the typical musical gala concert format.
This concert marked Palm Tree Island's first brand performance in approximately 1 year and 8 months since their 2023 Sejong Center performance. With the addition of Jeong Won-young and Lim Kyu-hyung, the lineup was richer than ever. As the third season unfolds, the concert series has become a 'brand series' that encapsulates the performance philosophy and identity of Palm Tree Island. The opening with 'Overture' and 'Arabian Nights' from the musical 'Aladdin' was a perfect return, drawing cheers from the audience.

Musical numbers from 'Aladdin', 'Dear Evan Hansen', 'Chicago', 'The Lion King', and 'Wicked' were organically connected, enhancing audience engagement with seamless transitions and direction. The 'Circle of Life' from 'The Lion King' featured six male actors entering the audience, breaking the barrier and maximizing immersion. The musical narrative was complemented by personal anecdotes and lively talks from the actors, creating a warm storytelling experience that resonated deeply with the audience.
Another highlight of the concert was the diverse stage combinations, ranging from solos to ensembles. Kim So-hyun and Son Jun-ho's 'The Phantom of the Opera' captivated with precise harmony and powerful high notes, while Jeong Sun-ah's 'Popular' featured Kim Junsu, Jin Tae-hwa, and Seo Kyung-soo alternating the role of Elphaba, adding a unique twist. The male ensemble's powerful performance in 'Bring Him Home' from 'Cyrano' was overwhelming, and the solo numbers by each actor received enthusiastic applause.
