Actor Lim Cheol-soo recently shared his thoughts on working with co-star Park Jin-young.
In a recent interview at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, Lim Cheol-soo discussed his role in the tvN drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul'.
The tvN weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' is a romantic coming-of-age story about twin sisters who swap lives and discover true love and life through their lies.
Lim Cheol-soo plays Lee Choong-gu, a highly capable lawyer with an impressive win rate, who is also the senior to Lee Ho-soo, played by Park Jin-young. His character is complex, often smiling warmly on the outside while maintaining a sharp judgment internally.
Lim Cheol-soo commented on his experience working with Park Jin-young, saying, "There were reactions hoping for Ho-soo and my character to reconcile. As the story progresses, we find ourselves on opposing sides, but I remember the audience's hope for us to join forces again."
He continued to praise Park Jin-young, stating, "In person, Jin-young has clear and transparent eyes, which suits the name Ho-soo perfectly. I watched his previous work, 'The Witch', and thought it would be great to have a friend like him. He's bright, witty, and doesn't try to stand out, making him an excellent actor."
When asked if he offered any acting advice on set, Lim Cheol-soo replied, "I'm not the type to give acting advice. My scenes are often static, so I focused on improvisation to make each take different. Jin-young handled his role so well that I felt like I was the one receiving advice from him. Watching the broadcast, I realized how much Ho-soo's character was shaping mine. I reflected on my own performance after seeing Jin-young's acting."
