In a heartfelt moment, Lee Ho-soo (played by Park Jin-young) confessed to Yoo Mi-ji (played by Park Bo-young), asking her to stay by his side.
The 11th episode of tvN's 'Our Unwritten Seoul', aired on the 28th, depicted Lee Ho-soo's struggle as he decided to part ways with Yoo Mi-ji after being diagnosed with sudden hearing loss.
During his hospital visit, Lee Ho-soo failed to hear the nurse calling his name. The doctor warned, "The situation is not good. You have two options: maintain your current state or lose your hearing. Psychological stability is crucial."
Overwhelmed, Lee Ho-soo told Yoo Mi-ji, "I don't want to burden you. Soon, I won't be able to talk to you on the phone or even have conversations like this," signaling their breakup.
Returning home unable to hold onto Lee Ho-soo, Yoo Mi-ji tearfully confided in Yoo Mi-rae, "We broke up. I couldn't stop him," blaming herself.
Lee Ho-soo's mother, Yeom Boon-hong (played by Kim Sun-young), comforted him, saying, "You're my son, and I'm your mother. If you let go, how will I live? Hold onto everything you can and don't let go."
Determined to overcome her trauma, Yoo Mi-ji ran to Lee Ho-soo. Upon meeting her again, Lee Ho-soo embraced her tightly, apologizing, "I'm sorry, I was foolish," and pleaded, "Stay by my side. Be with me, Mi-ji," as he broke down in tears.
