EXID member and actress Ahn Hee-yeon, known by her stage name Hani, recently shared an update with her fans.
On the 23rd, Hani posted a photo on her Instagram story without any caption. In the image, she is seen leaning against a sofa, gazing into the camera with her head tilted back. Notably, her hair appears slightly damp, and she sports a minimal makeup look, capturing attention.
Hani had announced her engagement to psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong in September last year. However, the couple decided to postpone their wedding after a tragic incident in May 2022, when a woman in her 30s died while admitted to Yang's psychiatric hospital. The timing of the engagement announcement coincided with the patient's death, leading to public scrutiny.
Following the incident, Hani faced backlash on social media and withdrew from upcoming programs. In April, Yang's hospital was subject to a police raid. Authorities reportedly seized mobile phones, CCTV footage, and various electronic data necessary for the investigation.
A police spokesperson stated at the time, "While we received some materials voluntarily from the hospital, a more thorough investigation required a search and seizure. This is the first execution of a search warrant related to this case."
