Korean actress Ko So-young recently opened up about her marriage to fellow actor Jang Dong-gun.
On October 20, Ko So-young shared a video titled 'Consulting with Capital T So-young' on her YouTube channel 'Just Ko So-young.'
In the video, Ko So-young opened a consultation session to communicate with her subscribers.
When a woman shared her dilemma about choosing between two men based on personality and looks, Ko So-young advised, "A friend once asked me the same thing. I told her, 'What matters is not the face, but someone who truly loves you and listens to you.' But she replied, 'You have no right to say that.'"
Ko So-young, who married Jang Dong-gun in 2010, emphasized, "I didn't marry him for his looks. I married him because he is sincere and truly kind." She added, "Having two men to choose from is a happy dilemma. But ultimately, you'll end up with someone who communicates well and matches with you."
Regarding a couple's travel dilemma where one partner is spontaneous and the other is planned, Ko So-young shared, "We are the same. When I travel, I want to see as much as possible. It's quantity over quality. I watch seven movies on a flight and forget what I watched."
In contrast, Jang Dong-gun prefers to sit in a café all day, leisurely watching the streets during a European trip.
Ko So-young commented, "I often nag him, asking why we came to Europe if he's just going to sit around. But it's important to break away from doing everything together. Each person should do what they enjoy and meet up for meals. Being together all the time can be tiresome."
On the topic of aging, Ko So-young responded to a subscriber's concern about feeling stressed, saying, "I also wonder if my seemingly happy appearance is okay. On social media, we choose the happiest, prettiest, and most radiant moments to share."
Ko So-young admitted, "I was sad when I first noticed signs of aging. But it's not something that happens only to me; it's a future that comes to everyone. It's a part of being human. I'm not always happy. I have my share of sadness and worries, and for mothers, a day passing without incident is the greatest happiness."
