Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one female trot singer people want to enjoy summer delicacies with.
From July 12 to 18, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to share summer delicacies with?' Kim Eui-young emerged as the top choice. She gained fame by finishing in the Top 7 of 'Miss Trot 2,' which aired from December 2020. Kim is set to make a comeback with her fourth single album, 'STARTrot PART.1,' on July 20, collaborating with renowned composer Kim Hyung-seok, who is producing a trot album for the first time.
In second place is Eun Ga-eun, who recently married Park Hyun-ho, five years her junior, in April. The couple will appear on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' on July 14 at 6:05 PM. Park, the most newlywed among six couples, praised Eun Ga-eun, saying, "It felt like falling into a black hole beyond human comprehension," and added, "I don't need a stylist, and she's such a great cook that I've gained weight despite dieting."
Jeon Yoo-jin secured the third spot. On July 17, she released her first-ever OST, 'Like You,' for the KBS weekend drama 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Five Brothers!' The song quickly topped the Bell365 OST ringtone and MP3 charts upon release. It also entered the top 10 on Melon's OST chart at number 9 and Genie at number 9, showcasing her strong presence in the OST scene.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to wear couple rain boots with during the upcoming rainy season?' and similar polls for female singers, male trot singers, and female trot singers.
