Kang Daniel Ventures into Songwriting with New Mini Album 'Glow to Haze'

K-pop sensation Kang Daniel has taken a significant step in his music career by participating in songwriting for the first time since his debut.

On October 16, Kang Daniel held a press conference at Park One Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his sixth mini-album, 'Glow to Haze'.

For this album, Kang Daniel has made his debut as a songwriter, contributing to the composition of the third track, 'Love Game'.

During the event, Kang Daniel candidly shared, "I had tried composing before, but I thought I might go crazy from the stress, so I deliberately avoided it."

He continued, "I see composing as a means to express one's personal stories and emotions, which is different from songwriting. I initially avoided it due to stress, but after trying out and showcasing several songs, I thought, 'Why not give it a shot?' There are expressions that can't be captured through lyrics alone."

Kang Daniel sees this album as a turning point in his career. He expressed his excitement, saying, "Having a track where I am credited as a composer marks a new chapter for me." He also revealed his desire to explore more lyrical and emotional songs that may not fit the typical dance singer's repertoire.

The 'Glow to Haze' mini-album features a total of five tracks. The title track, 'Episode', captures the excitement of new love with a blend of Latin rhythms and R&B. Kang Daniel contributed to the lyrics, and renowned K-pop choreographer Choi Young-jun enhanced the performance.

Kang Daniel's new album 'Glow to Haze' is set to be released at 6 PM today.
