Kim Da-som, a member of the group SISTAR and an actress, has taken on the role of a single mother in the drama 'Salon de Holmes'.
On the 16th, a press conference for the ENA drama 'Salon de Holmes' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Lee Si-young, Jung Young-joo, Kim Da-som, Nam Gi-ae, and director Min Jin-ki.
Kim Da-som described her character, Park So-hee, as "the queen of part-time jobs in the neighborhood. There's a rumor that she's a millionaire landowner, but she's actually a character with a painful story." She added, "The driving force in So-hee's life is her sick son. That's why she works so hard. I was moved by this aspect of her character, which is why I chose to take on this project."
Kim Da-som also explained her trademark helmet. "In the drama, So-hee, who is portrayed as the queen of part-time jobs, rides a motorcycle every day. So the helmet is the item that best represents So-hee's identity. I even practiced riding a motorcycle for this role," she revealed.
When asked about the atmosphere on set, Kim Da-som said, "There was never a dull moment during filming. We shot in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, and it was a lot of fun going to the local chicken rib restaurants every day."
Finally, Kim Da-som described 'Salon de Holmes' as "a comprehensive gift set of comedy, thriller, and humanism," and requested, "Please show a lot of interest as it contains realistic stories that you can see around you."
'Salon de Holmes' premieres at 10 PM today.
