In the fourth episode of MBC's daily drama 'Woman Who Swallowed the Sun' (planned by Jang Jae-hoon, directed by Kim Jin-hyung, written by Seol Kyung-eun, produced by MBC C&I), which aired on the 12th, Baek Seol-hee (played by Jang Shin-young) is determined to uncover the truth behind her daughter Baek Mi-so's (played by Lee Ru-da) assault. The episode also reveals the deep-seated trauma of Min Se-ri (played by Park Seo-yeon). A significant focus of the episode was the revelation of Se-ri's deep wounds. After hearing the harsh words from Kyung-chae, "You're nothing to me now," Se-ri desperately clings to her. Se-ri's confession, "The nanny was annoyed with me. I knew it even when I was young. That's why you felt like a mother to me," reveals the complex relationship between Kyung-chae and Se-ri, adding depth to the drama.
Furthermore, the truth behind Mi-so's retaliatory assault becomes clearer. After regaining consciousness, Mi-so tells her friend that the person who attacked her was Se-ri, who had caused a scene at a café. Mi-so's friend hands Seol-hee the dress Mi-so intended to give as a birthday present, ruined by Se-ri's assault, revealing the full truth of the incident. Realizing it was not a mere accident but a malicious retaliatory assault, Seol-hee is enraged.
