Park Bo-young Confesses Hidden Feelings to Park Jin-young in 'Our Unwritten Seoul'

Park Bo-young has confessed her hidden feelings to Park Jin-young.

In the fifth episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-woo and Nam Geon, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Monster Union and High Ground), which aired yesterday (7th), the past of Yoo Mi-ji (played by Park Bo-young) and Lee Ho-soo (played by Park Jin-young), who inspired each other's will to live, was revealed.

The episode achieved a viewership rating of 5.7% in the metropolitan area and 5.4% nationwide, ranking first in its time slot on cable and comprehensive programming channels. It also topped the 2049 male and female target audience ratings on cable and comprehensive programming channels, according to Nielsen Korea.

Upon hearing that Lee Ho-soo's first love was not her sister Yoo Mi-rae (also played by Park Bo-young) but herself, Yoo Mi-ji began to question the timing of their feelings and speculated on where their relationship went awry. Lee Ho-soo revealed that he started liking Yoo Mi-ji after an incident at Dosonbong, a mountain all students climbed as part of a school tradition, leaving Yoo Mi-ji flustered.

Meanwhile, Lee Ho-soo, confused between the twin sisters, decided to clarify his feelings and headed to Doson-ri to meet Yoo Mi-ji. However, Yoo Mi-ji was pretending to be Yoo Mi-rae in Seoul. Lee Ho-soo expressed gratitude to Yoo Mi-rae, thinking she was Yoo Mi-ji, for a conversation they had at Dosonbong, saying, "That was a turning point in my life." Yoo Mi-rae's indifferent reaction to the misplaced gratitude left Lee Ho-soo feeling uneasy.

Yoo Mi-rae corrected Yoo Mi-ji's misunderstanding about rumors of her past relationship with Lee Ho-soo, explaining that she had leaned on him during a track meet due to a sudden deterioration in her condition. Yoo Mi-ji blamed herself for losing everything precious due to a small misunderstanding.

Struggling with her first business report, Yoo Mi-ji worked tirelessly but ended up with unsatisfactory results. Comforted by a colleague who helped her complete the report, Yoo Mi-ji recalled the time she was confined to her room and the day she approached her grandmother after remembering Lee Ho-soo's words at Dosonbong, moving viewers to tears.

Yoo Mi-ji shared that her grandmother's words, "Yesterday is over, tomorrow is far away, but today is still unknown. So let's live today," helped her endure each day. Her tears as she lamented not keeping her promise to stop running away from herself added to the poignancy.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Yoo Mi-ji confronted Lee Ho-soo, asking him to explain the incident at Dosonbong. Lee Ho-soo recounted how Yoo Mi-ji was the only one who believed in him during a time when he couldn't believe in himself. Listening intently, Yoo Mi-ji, forgetting she was pretending to be Yoo Mi-rae, confessed, "I liked you too," leaving Lee Ho-soo stunned and hinting at a change in their relationship.

Meanwhile, Yoo Mi-rae found herself at the center of an unexpected scandal in Doson-ri, as rumors of a love triangle with farm owner Han Se-jin (played by Ryu Kyung-soo) and classmate Song Kyung-goo (played by Moon Dong-hyuk) spread widely. The uncomfortable rumors triggered Yoo Mi-rae's trauma, leaving her visibly shaken.

The sixth episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' will air on the 8th at 9:20 PM.
