Actor Oh Jung-se has made his first appearance in the new JTBC weekend drama 'Good Boy'.
'Good Boy', written by Lee Dae-il and directed by Shim Na-yeon, is a comic action youth investigation drama produced by SLL, Studio&New, and Drama House Studio. It follows medalists who become police officers through special recruitment, fighting against a world filled with dishonesty and unfairness. In the drama, Oh Jung-se plays the dual role of 'Min Joo-young', a customs officer by day and a secretive figure controlling the city of Inseong by night.
In the second episode, Oh Jung-se portrayed the duality of Min Joo-young, who lives a seemingly ordinary life with a neat appearance, yet harbors a cold and ruthless nature. He was seen threatening Lee Kyung-il (played by Lee Jung-ha) with a bloodied face and burning an article about the national team’s special investigation unit, revealing the violent side hidden behind his innocent facade.
Towards the end of the episode, the tension escalated as Min Joo-young faced off against Yoon Dong-joo (played by Park Bo-gum), who suspects him as the culprit of a hit-and-run incident. Min Joo-young maintained a calm demeanor, adding to the suspenseful ending.
Oh Jung-se effectively captured the chilling duality of Min Joo-young from his first appearance, leaving a strong impression with just a glance and signature hand motions.
JTBC's 'Good Boy' airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
