WJSN member Dayoung recently stirred up curiosity among fans after posting and then deleting a cryptic message on her personal social media account.
On the 25th, Dayoung shared a screenshot of Starship Entertainment's official social media feed, accompanied by a brief caption, "ㅎ." The screenshot featured posts celebrating the birthdays of Starship artists, including Kiki Sui and Cravity's Allen in April, and Kiki Jiwoo on the 14th. However, there was no mention of Dayoung, who shares the same birthday as Jiwoo.
Following this, Dayoung posted a picture of a hamster with the caption "兔死狗烹," a Korean idiom meaning to discard someone once they are no longer needed. This led fans to speculate that Dayoung might be expressing dissatisfaction with her agency.
WJSN has been on a hiatus since their single album release in July 2022. All members, except Luda and Dawon, renewed their contracts with Starship in 2023.
