WINNER's Mino Faces Legal Trouble Amid Military Service Controversy
WINNER member Song Mino (32) has been transferred to the prosecution amid allegations of inadequate service during his time as a public service worker.

The Seoul Mapo Police Station announced on the 23rd that Song Mino was sent to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office on the 22nd on charges of violating the Military Service Act.

Song Mino served as a public service worker at a facility in Mapo-gu from March 2023 to December of the previous year. He faced controversy for allegedly not attending work properly and leaving his post, neglecting his duties.

In December of last year, the police received a request for investigation from the Military Manpower Administration and subsequently booked Song Mino for investigation. During the police inquiry, Song Mino largely admitted to the allegations.

Meanwhile, WINNER is expected to resume activities as a trio. On the 7th, WINNER's agency, YG Entertainment, announced that the group would hold a concert in July, marking their return after approximately 3 years and 3 months. However, only Kang Seung-yoon, Kim Jin-woo, and Lee Seung-hoon will perform, excluding Song Mino.
