"We will work hard to create an album that can awaken the hearts of the public."
The group TripleS is set to awaken the hearts of the public with their new album 'ASSEMBLE 25'. On the 12th, TripleS held a showcase at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second full-length album.
The title track of the new album, 'Are You Alive', is an alternative dance genre song featuring a catchy hook and a composition that showcases the diverse colors of the 24-member group. TripleS sings about awakening from the darkness, acknowledging that the world isn't always bright.
TripleS continues their 'La La La' series with this release. The group has consistently included the phrase 'La La La' in their songs, making it a signature feature. Kim Yoo-yeon expressed gratitude, saying, "It's challenging to be remembered for one thing, and we're thankful that our 'La La La' series has left a mark."
However, the group acknowledges that they can't rely on the 'La La La' series forever. Kim Yoo-yeon mentioned, "We haven't completely ruled out the idea of moving away from it. We believe our fans will guide us when it's time to let go."
Park So-hyun agreed, stating, "Since our fans help choose the title tracks, there's no major concern. It will happen naturally." She added, "Our themes can be heavy, but the simple 'La La La' lyrics make them more approachable and enjoyable."
Last year, TripleS achieved success with their full-group release 'Girls' Never Die'. Kim Na-kyung expressed hopes for similar success with their new dark concept, saying, "We worked hard on the performance aspect to make a strong impact." When asked about support, she humorously mentioned, "Our CEO is our biggest support, and he's watching right now."
The members have returned stronger, using the pressure from 'Girls' Never Die' as a stepping stone. Park So-hyun shared, "The pressure was there, but it had a positive effect. We overcame it by supporting each other and want to continue creating meaningful music."
'Girls' Never Die' holds special significance for TripleS. Kim Yoo-yeon said, "It's a precious song for me, providing comfort during tough times. If it can comfort others, that's valuable and makes me happy." She hopes 'Are You Alive' will also offer solace to many.
In the new music video, TripleS continues the storyline from 'Girls' Never Die'. The members shared behind-the-scenes stories, with Gong Yoo-bin recalling, "It was freezing when we filmed the water scenes. Despite the discomfort, we were determined to create something great." Kim Na-kyung, sister of singer BIBI, added, "It was cold, but riding a bike in sleeveless clothes felt exhilarating and youthful."
Yoon Seo-yeon, the leader for this promotion, concluded, "It's an honor to present our second album, prepared by all 24 members with the help of many."
The new album 'ASSEMBLE 25' includes the title track 'Are You Alive' and nine other songs. It was chosen as the title track through 'gravity', involving 28,233 fans worldwide.
TripleS's full-group album 'ASSEMBLE 25' was released at 6 PM today.
