Teen Top's Niel has announced his ambitious goal of bringing all his bandmates into his newly established solo agency.
On the 18th, Niel held a press interview at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his fourth mini-album, 'SHE'.
This album marks Niel's first release under his own agency, EL&D Entertainment, which he founded in March. Driven by a desire for creative freedom, Niel explained, "I wanted to be 100% involved in the album-making process. Although my opinions were considered in previous albums, I had to coordinate with the company. I decided to establish my own agency to fully realize my vision."
Niel sought advice from senior artists who had previously ventured into solo agencies. "Most advised against it, but many also encouraged me, saying it would be a valuable life experience," he shared. "I decided to take the plunge, thinking there was no better time than now."
He informed his bandmates about his solo venture after making significant preparations. "I told them once everything was set," Niel said, adding that they were very supportive. "Ricky jokingly insisted I take him along later," he laughed. "I promised to bring them all on board if things go well. It's my dream to have them all in my company," he added, hinting at their strong bond.
'SHE' is Niel's first mini-album in two and a half years. The title track 'SHE' features a groovy rhythm and soulful guitar, with Niel's deep vocals flowing freely with the emotions. The melody, which balances restraint and explosive expression, adds to the album's poignant atmosphere.
The new album includes six tracks: the title track 'SHE', 'Sapé', 'The Meaning Within Love', 'If you're the ocean', 'What's the Excuse for Love?', and 'SHE (Inst.)'.
Niel's fourth mini-album 'SHE' and its music video will be released on the 22nd at 6 PM.
