Actress Go Youn-jung recently shared insights into her unexpected journey into the world of acting.
On October 18th, the YouTube channel 'Channel Fifteenya' released a video titled "200% Nervousness, 200% Cuteness: The Awkward Gathering of Rookie Actors."
The video featured Go Youn-jung alongside fellow actors Shin Si-a, Kang Yoo-seok, and Han Ye-ji, who are all starring in the tvN weekend drama 'Someday Wise Resident Life.'
During the video, producer Na Young-seok inquired about Go Youn-jung's background in fine arts, asking if she was an ordinary art student. She responded, "I had many interests," mentioning her experiences in ballet and figure skating. She added, "I majored in art because my grades were good compared to other things I tried."
Go Youn-jung recounted her entry into acting, saying, "My sister suggested I apply to 'College Tomorrow' magazine." She continued, "I got a call three days later, and after the magazine was published, I received casting offers from three to four places."
Na Young-seok, amused by her story, joked, "So you got flooded with calls after appearing in a magazine? I should try it tomorrow."
Currently, Go Youn-jung is captivating audiences in the tvN drama 'Someday Wise Resident Life' and has chosen the Netflix series 'Is This Love Translatable?' as her next project, generating much anticipation.
