Coldplay's 'MOON MUSiC' Pop-Up in Seoul: A Must-Visit for Fans
As soon as you reach the basement level 2 of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido via the escalator, a bustling crowd catches your eye. It's the 'MOON MUSiC' Seoul pop-up, celebrating the world-renowned band Coldplay's concert in Korea. From the opening day, this space has been a magnet for fans, offering a small universe that immerses visitors in Coldplay's musical world.

“I can't believe it's been 8 years. I'm so excited and wanted to visit before the concert,” said a female fan in her 20s, unable to hide her excitement as she explored the Coldplay-themed space. The pop-up was created to commemorate Coldplay's new album 'MOON MUSiC' and their concert series starting on the 16th.

Music platform Melon has designed the pop-up with the concept of 'Coldplay Universe,' featuring three themed areas: 'Melon Listening Star,' 'Photo Star,' and 'Event Star.' Visitors can freely enter to enjoy Coldplay's music, explore various images, and participate in events, experiencing the band's universe in a vibrant way.

The first area that catches your attention is the 'Melon Listening Star.' Visitors stand at booths equipped with headsets and tablets, focusing on finding their favorite tracks from a specially curated playlist by Melon and Warner Music Korea to celebrate Coldplay's visit. A QR code on one wall connects to Melon Magazine Edition M, where the full playlist and related content can be accessed.

Next is the 'Photo Star,' featuring a large group photo of the band and a reimagined 'Edition M Photo Wall' showcasing 25 years of Coldplay album covers. Fans can take commemorative photos or reminisce about cherished moments.

The final area, the 'Event Zone,' is the busiest. It hosts various events, including LP and merchandise giveaways. Among the crowd was a couple participating in the events. “We plan to come back after the concert to relive the experience. It's great to have this space,” said one fan.
