NewJeans members Hanni and Minji have shared their recent experiences from Rome.
On October 13, the SNS account 'mhdhh_friends', managed by NewJeans members, posted photos of Hanni and Minji. Alongside the scenic shots of Rome, they wrote, "Bunnies (NewJeans fandom), how are you doing? I'm currently far away. I wanted to visit a place where no one recognizes me." The same photos were also shared on their newly created personal accounts.
Previously, an online community post mentioned sightings of Hanni and Minji in Rome. The eyewitness noted that the two were touring the Vatican without any entourage, such as a manager or family members. Following this, Hanni and Minji confirmed their trip by posting photos themselves.
Last November, NewJeans announced the termination of their exclusive contract with their agency, ADOR, and planned to continue their activities under the name NJZ. However, a court ruling in favor of ADOR's injunction prevented them from using the NJZ name, leading NewJeans to announce a hiatus at ComplexCon last month.
The group now uses 'mhdhh', derived from the initials of the members' names, for their SNS account instead of their team name. Additionally, NewJeans has filed an objection to the injunction decision and a lawsuit to confirm the validity of their exclusive contract.
