On October 8, Yeri posted a video on her Instagram story without any accompanying caption.
In the video, Yeri is seen showcasing her swimming skills in a blue pool, wearing a backless bodysuit. The setting appears to be overseas, surrounded by palm trees, and the person filming the video can be heard advising her to "Be careful" just before she enters the water.
Previously, Yeri concluded her 10-year contract with SM Entertainment. On October 4, SM Entertainment announced, "We inform you that the exclusive contracts with Wendy and Yeri have ended."
Despite the contract conclusion, both Yeri and Wendy will continue their group activities with Red Velvet under SM Entertainment. The company added, "We ask for your continued support for Red Velvet's journey."
Meanwhile, other Red Velvet members Seulgi, Irene, and Joy have renewed their contracts with SM, leaving fans curious about when and how the five members will reunite.
