BTS's j-hope Triumphs Over High Fever to Deliver a Memorable Performance in Mexico City
BTS member j-hope overcame a high fever to perform on stage, leaving fans deeply moved.

On the 22nd and 23rd (local time), j-hope held his solo world tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The venue, which can accommodate up to 20,000 people, saw j-hope's performances sell out on both days, including seats with restricted views.

During the performance on the 23rd, j-hope revealed, "Before the show, my fever spiked to nearly 39.5 degrees Celsius, and I was in poor condition. However, I knew I had to recover somehow for the performance. I found a Korean hospital and met a great doctor who helped me recover, allowing me to perform."

Fans in the audience responded with sympathetic gasps and loud applause. As the news spread, social media platforms like X were flooded with reactions such as, "39.5 degrees is too high to even move, it's a relief he recovered," and "It's amazing he went on stage right after emergency treatment. We wouldn't have known if he hadn't mentioned it."
