BTS member Jimin has added another trophy to his collection at the '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards'.
On the 17th of this month, Jimin was awarded the 'K-POP SONG OF THE YEAR' for his title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' at the '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards' held in Los Angeles, USA. Having won as part of the group for seven consecutive years since 2018, this marks his first win as a solo artist.
The 'iHeartRadio Music Awards' is a music awards ceremony organized by the American online radio broadcaster iHeartRadio since 2014. It honors artists and songs that have been played the most on iHeartRadio broadcasts and applications over the past year.
'Who' entered the US Billboard Main Song Chart 'Hot 100' immediately after its release in July last year and has remained on the chart for a total of 32 weeks, marking the longest charting record for a K-pop solo artist. The longest-charting group song on the same chart is BTS's 'Dynamite' (32 weeks). With this, Jimin has set a record for the longest charting in both group and solo activities.
Additionally, 'Who' has surpassed 1.5 billion streams on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify (as of the February 26 chart). According to Spotify's recently released '2024 Wrapped' campaign, this track was the most streamed K-pop song globally last year and the most listened to by Korean users.
