According to Channel A, a woman in her 30s, identified as A, residing in Hong Kong, has been under police investigation for allegedly leaking flight details of several celebrities, including members of the group BTS, from 2023 to 2024.
A, an employee of an international airline, is accused of accessing and initially distributing the flight information. She reportedly used a work-related program that allows access to global flight ticket information, inputting celebrities' details to obtain their flight information. It is estimated that she leaked over 1,000 pieces of information, earning more than 10 million won in profits.
The police are also tracking another wholesaler involved in the case.
