Koo Jun-hoe Joins 'Marry YOU': A New Romantic Comedy Drama

Koo Jun-hoe is set to appear in the upcoming drama 'Marry YOU'. Previously, he gained attention on MBC's variety show 'It's Dangerous Beyond the Blankets' where he candidly shared, "When I turned 20, I discovered clubs and went six times a week." Koo Jun-hoe has also been involved in various controversies, including anti-Korean sentiments, being a passenger in a drunk driving incident, and deceiving fans.

'Marry YOU' is a comedic family drama that explores the dynamics between non-marriage and marriage. It follows the story of 'Jung Hana', a civil servant who is against marriage, as she tries to escape the marriage promotion team by setting up 'Bong Cheol-hee', a bachelor from an island. The show promises to deliver a delightful and relatable narrative that spans across generations.

Koo Jun-hoe, a member of the group iKON, will be featured in this drama. On the 30th, the production team released stills of Koo Jun-hoe (playing Choi Ki-joon) from the set. His serious expression suggests a deep contemplation, evoking a sense of melancholy.

In the drama, Choi Ki-joon is the team leader of the marriage promotion team, which includes Jung Hana (played by Jo Soo-min). Despite his outstanding appearance and abilities, he harbors hidden deficiencies. Choi Ki-joon shares a special past connection with Jung Hana and reunites with her in the marriage promotion team. Koo Jun-hoe will portray the complex inner world and evolving emotions of Choi Ki-joon.

The production team commented, "As filming progresses, Koo Jun-hoe's deep immersion into his character captivates even the production staff. We are excited and eager to see how his passion and affection for acting will shine in this drama. We ask for the viewers' interest and support."

'Marry YOU' is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, November 16th, at 7:50 PM.
