On the 30th, the production team of ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Intoxicating Romance' released behind-the-scenes cuts of Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong-won.
'Intoxicating Romance' tells the story of Yong-joo (played by Kim Sejeong), a 'super passionate' sales king at a liquor company who hides her emotions, and Min-joo (played by Lee Jong-won), a 'super sensitive' brewery CEO who is adept at catching emotions. The drama portrays their romance, which is as refreshing as a high-alcohol-content drink. Like beers with different tastes and aromas, these polar opposites gradually blend into each other's lives, offering laughter, excitement, and empathy. Director Park Sun-ho, known for his excellent direction in romantic comedies like 'Business Proposal' and 'Suspicious Partner,' teams up with rookie writer Lee Jung-shin to create another addictive romance.
The behind-the-scenes glimpses of Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong-won elevate the excitement level. Kim Sejeong, transformed into a legendary sales king at a liquor company, exudes cheerful energy. Her dedication to her role as 'Chae Yong-joo,' even during breaks, is evident as she never lets go of her script, promising to captivate viewers once again. It raises curiosity about how Chae Yong-joo, who has devoted herself entirely to her organization and company without tending to her own emotions, will change with the arrival of Yoon Min-joo, who is sensitive to others' feelings.
Lee Jong-won, focused on rehearsals without a hint of distraction, embodies the meticulous 'Yoon Min-joo.' His bright smile, which energizes the set, induces excitement. It remains to be seen whether Yoon Min-joo's fortress-like emotional barriers, built to prevent emotional overload, will crumble when faced with the unstoppable sales king Chae Yong-joo. The unfamiliar yet thrilling changes they bring to each other's lives are eagerly anticipated.
The chemistry between Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong-won, who will delicately portray the transition from polar opposites to gradually blending into each other's lives, is undoubtedly the highlight.
