Actor Kim Sung-cheol recently disclosed that he managed to sleep only four hours a day while juggling multiple projects last year.
On the 15th, a video titled "Ride with Kim Sung-cheol Back from Hell" was uploaded on the web variety show 'Vivo TV'. In this episode, Kim Sung-cheol appeared as a guest and engaged in various discussions with host Song Eun-i.
Song Eun-i asked Kim, "Is it true that you only sleep four hours a day?" He explained, "That's how I lived last year. I worked on five projects last year."
Surprised, Song Eun-i inquired if this was part of his life philosophy. Kim Sung-cheol replied, "Not at all. I love sleeping. Our line of work doesn't always allow for a good night's sleep. We might have to stay up all night at any time, so I have a habit of catching up on sleep when I can."
Kim continued, "Even if I stay up for two to three days, my fatigue and stress levels aren't that high. I used to think, 'I can sleep once this is over,' but last year, with such a busy schedule, I realized I needed at least four hours of sleep a day."
Song Eun-i remarked, "It seems like you were portrayed as someone who doesn't need sleep." She added humorously, "I heard people around you asked, 'Do you have any debts?' because you worked so much last year."
Kim Sung-cheol added, "I worked hard across various genres, including musicals and films." He revealed, "I had a goal last year to work in all four genres: theater, musicals, films, and dramas. Fortunately, the schedule worked out well. I've always been busy and hardworking, so my close associates weren't surprised. It seems like distant acquaintances were the ones who speculated about debts."
