Park Tae-hwan, a former member of the national swimming team, revealed his close relationship with actress Kim Hye-yoon.
In TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels' (hereinafter referred to as 'Baekban Travels'), which aired on the 14th, Tae-Hwan Park visited a delicious restaurant in Haenam, Jeollanam-do.
Park Tae-hwan is currently staying away from water. He, who swept medals in numerous international competitions, explained about the 'sports pension', "The pension is a fixed amount paid per month when the points are reached. I already filled the amount in high school, so I received a lump sum from the next competition."

Park Tae-hwan said about the reason he started swimming, "When I was young, my bronchial tubes were weak, so the doctor recommended that swimming was good for breathing, so I started swimming. In the beginning, I hated water and was scared, so I couldn't go in. There was play time with parents in the middle, and my mother gave me a coin. “When I threw it, I picked it up like lightning. From then on, I became familiar with the water, and when I was in the 6th grade, I won first place in the country, which made me work harder.”
The reason Park Tae-hwan worked harder at the time was for his mother, who was suffering from cancer. It is said that his mother went to watch her son's games even while she was suffering from cancer in the past, and that she forgot the pain every time her son won. Accordingly, Park Tae-hwan, who worked harder at swimming, was selected as the youngest national swimming team member in his third year of middle school. Park Tae-hwan said, "At that time, my mother was sick. She saw me winning in competitions and every time I did well, she couldn't pay attention to me being sick." Tae-Hwan Park chose “the meal prepared by his mother” as the health food he enjoyed while on active duty.
Heo Young-man asked, “If I go to a competition before that, won’t everyone recognize me? Don’t foreign women ask for my phone number?” Park Tae-hwan gave a laugh by expressing his regret, saying, "No one asked for my number at the stadium. You can come up to me, but why won't you come?"
Park Tae-hwan revealed the story behind his cameo appearance in the popular tvN drama ‘Seonjae and Jump’. He said, “I became close with Kim Hye-yoon because we did a broadcast together before.”
Kim Hye-yoon said she learned swimming at the swimming academy run by Park Tae-hwan. Park Tae-hwan said, "He came to learn swimming from me a few times while I was at the academy. We had a relationship and we talked before filming the drama. He said he was doing a drama like this and it would be good for him to appear, so I appeared."
