Jiyeon Kim explodes with anger at Jang Dae
'Pyramid Game' Kim Ji-yeon successfully counterattacked Jang Da-ah.

In episodes 7 and 8 of TVING's original series 'Pyramid Game' released on the 14th, Seong Soo-ji (played by Kim Ji-yeon) persuaded her friends to stay safe together. Attention is focused on whether the 5th grade 2nd grade class, which has begun to shake, can work together to eliminate the cruel game.

The war of nerves between Seong Soo-ji and Baek Ha-rin (played by Jang Da-ah) reached its peak during a school trip. Baek Harin used the weaknesses of Seong Soo-ji, Myeong Ja-eun (played by Ryu Da-in), Lim Ye-rim (played by Kang Na-eon), and Song Jae-hyung (played by Oh Se-eun) as an excuse to betray each other. However, Baek Harin's plan did not work for them. Seong Soo-ji, Myeong Ja-eun, Lim Ye-rim, and Song Jae-hyung comforted each other during the crisis and further strengthened their faith. Those who joined hands for the goal of ‘collapsing the pyramid game’ were becoming real friends.

Nevertheless, Baek Harin did not stop. A survival game was created to divide them. On the surface, it was a group match, but hidden there was an individual match where penalties were imposed if attacked three or more times. Go Eun-byeol (played by Jeong Ha-dam) led her friends to attack Seong Soo-ji, Myeong Ja-eun, Lim Ye-rim, and Song Jae-hyung. Those subject to punishment for being attacked three or more times were Seong Soo-ji, Myung Ja-eun, Song Jae-hyung, and Pyo Ji-ae (played by Kim Se-hee). The penalty was to draw an ‘F’ using the ‘Prisoner’s Dilemma’. The only way to survive without becoming F was to report each other's mistakes.

In a crisis where they had to betray each other to be safe, the first person to attack was Pyo Ae. The person that Pyo Ae attacked was herself, not someone else. Seong Soo-ji watches as Pyo-ae attacks herself repeatedly for betraying her friends. His eyes changed as if he had made up his mind and he shot himself, and Myeong Ja-eun and Song Jae-hyung also changed the direction of their guns. Soon, they turned the serious atmosphere around and confirmed their trust in each other. Seong Soo-ji's subsequent narration to Baek Harin, “You just broke down and we became who we are,” was refreshing.

Baek Harin's anger exploded after she failed in her plan to divide Seong Soo-ji, Myung Ja-eun, Song Jae-hyung, and Lim Ye-rim. Kim Da-yeon (played by Hwang Hyun-jung), who sensed Baek Ha-rin's unusual energy, tried to turn the mood around by touching Pyo-ae. However, Shim Eun-jung (played by Lee Joo-yeon) blocked Kim Da-yeon, and Kim Da-yeon, who could not control her anger, attacked Shim Eun-jung. Kim Da-yeon, who was not graded A, hitting Shim Eun-jung, who was not graded F, was like breaking a taboo. In addition, the situation became more serious as national swimming team member Shim Eun-jung's career as an athlete became difficult.

The fact that someone's life was interrupted by a cruel game that everyone had been ignoring shook the hearts of the 2nd year and 5th class students. Seong Su-ji did not miss the opportunity and persuaded her friends, saying, “Let’s all be safe together.” Seongsuji’s plan is to use the phrase ‘everyone’s game.’ It was expected that if the majority gave up on the game, it would be invalidated because it was not everyone's game.

Meanwhile, an accident occurred just before the return of the Pyramid Game. Lim Ye-rim collapsed and was taken to an ambulance. Seong Soo-ji thought that Lim Ye-rim's collapse was also related to Baek Har-rin and immediately went to see Baek Har-rin. The ending, where Seong Soo-ji grabs and pushes Baek Harin in front of everyone in class 5 of the second year, heightened tension and made people curious about the next story.

Episodes 9 and 10 of ‘Pyramid Game’ will be released on the 21st.
