“Buying and inhaling Philopon even during trial”… 'High School Rapper 2' Yoon Byung-ho sentenced to 7 years in prison

Yoon Byung-ho, a contestant on Mnet's survival audition program 'High School Rapper 2', will be sentenced to a total of 7 years in prison.

According to the legal community, the 1st Division of the Supreme Court (Chief Justice Noh Tae-ak) sentenced Byeong-ho Yoon (23, active name Bulli Da Bastard) to 7 years in prison on the 14th, who was indicted on charges of violation of the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic and marijuana) and special injury. The original judgment was confirmed.

Byung-ho Yoon was indicted on charges of purchasing, possessing, smoking, and taking drugs such as marijuana, fentanyl, and methamphetamine from January 2018 to July of last year. In addition, he is accused of injuring an acquaintance by hitting him with a blunt object at his home in October 2020, and of assaulting a minor by calling him to a music studio in February of the following year.

On this charge, Byung-ho Yoon was sentenced to four years in prison in the first trial last February, was ordered to complete a 40-hour drug addiction rehabilitation program, and was ordered to collect 1.635 million won.

Afterwards, he was additionally indicted in a separate drug case and sentenced to two years and six months in prison in the first trial last April.

After hearing the two cases together, the appellate court finally sentenced him to seven years in prison, completion of a 40-hour drug addiction rehabilitation education program, and an order to collect 5.71 million won. The appellate court said, "Byung-ho Yoon purchased, used, smoked, and administered various narcotics over a long period of time," and added, "Considering the circumstances of the crime, he should be severely punished. Also, while on trial for this case, he purchased and inhaled philopon, so the crime was serious." “Do it,” he said.

Byung-ho Yoon appealed against this, but the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the original trial and dismissed the case.
