Singers Sung Si-kyung and Cha Eun-woo will serve as MCs for the 38th Golden Disk Awards.
On the 30th, the Golden Disc Awards office announced, "Sung Si-kyung and Cha Eun-woo will work together as MCs for the '38th Golden Disk Awards with Mandiri' to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 6, 2014."
Sung Si-kyung continues his career as a Golden Disk MC for the eighth year. He, who has been attracting attention for his extraordinary hosting skills in both the album and digital music categories, is expected to lead the awards ceremony comfortably and skillfully this time as well.
Cha Eun-woo is hosting 'Golden Disk' for the first time. Cha Eun-woo, who won the Best Performance award with Astro members at the '34th Golden Disk Awards', returns to Golden as an MC rather than an award winner for the first time in four years. Expectations are high on what kind of chemistry he will show with Sung Si-kyung, who is active not only as a singer but also as an actor.
The '38th Golden Disc Awards with Mandiri' will be held at the International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 6, 2024. This is the fifth time it has been held overseas. Following the 26th Japan, 27th Malaysia, 29th China, and 37th Thailand, we are preparing to meet global fans once again.
The '38th Golden Disk Awards' selected candidates through screening and quantitative evaluation of music and albums released from mid-November 2022 to early November 2023. Sound sources and albums that were excluded from nominations due to overlap with the previous year's counting deadline were included in this review. Candidates for each category for the 38th edition will be revealed on the official website and SNS on December 4th. The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on JTBC2 and JTBC4 and delayed on JTBC.
