In the play, Seo Do-guk and Han Yi-ju turned the tide thanks to Han Woon-jae (Lee Byung-jun), who dramatically appeared at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting of 'Hanul Financial Group'. Han Woon-jae insisted that he would cancel the adult guardianship system that Lee Jeong-hye had worked on and, if necessary, even seek a diagnosis at a hospital for dementia. Jamie (Jin Hee-kyung), a 5% stock holder, also joined in to push Lee Jeong-hye into a corner.
In the end, Lee Jeong-hye ran away from the extraordinary shareholders' meeting and went home, lying to Han Jin-woong (Jeon No-min) and asking for help, but Han Jin-woong expressed his anger at Lee Jeong-hye, saying, "Did you think I didn't know what you were like?" After the tense events, Seo Do-guk and Han Yi-ju enjoyed a moment of peace while organizing their paintings at home. At this time, Han Yi-ju expressed her current happiness, saying that she wanted to find a painting titled 'Frozen Spring' that she had painted in the past. However, Seo Do-guk, who found out about this through a wiretap, drove straight toward Lee Jeong-hye and Jo Dong-soo's car at full speed in the opposite lane to protect Han Yi-joo, providing an intense ending full of urgency.
Meanwhile, Han Yu-ra was overcome with anxiety when she found out that she was pregnant after spending the night with Seo Jeong-wook (Kang Shin-hyo). However, when Lee Min-young heard that Han Yu-ra was pregnant, she was happy and dreamed of a comeback, and Seo Jeong-wook also hugged and comforted Han Yu-ra, thinking that he could use Han Yu-ra's pregnancy as a means for his own ambitions. However, Han Yu-ra, who had questions about her birth during a conversation with Han Yi-ju, conducted a genetic test using the nail clippers used by Jo Dong-su, and later showed tears of shock when she confirmed that she was Jo Dong-soo's daughter, not Han Jin-woong's daughter. In the end, he was shown tearing up the result sheet and putting it in his mouth and chewing it as an offering to evil, raising curiosity about future developments.
