Jeonghan High School was thrown into chaos as several students died after eating cookies sold by Sooyoung (Nam Ji-hyeon). Ho-ho (Choi Hyun-wook) committed suicide after eating the cookies he made, and Seong-pil (Kim Moo-yeol) was dragged away by the chairman (Nam Myeong-ryeol) without being able to obtain the recipe he so desperately wanted. And a year later, Minyoung, who has overcome the temptation of cookies and lives a normal life, hears the news of another student who died after eating cookies. The story ends, implying that Sooyoung is still selling cookies. 'Hi Cookie' captivated viewers until the end with an ending that left a lasting impression. Nam Ji-hyun, Choi Hyun-wook, Kim Moo-yeol, and Jeong Da-bin, who have led the work with their passionate performances so far, shared their thoughts on the ending.
Nam Ji-hyun said, “It was a dream-like drama,” and added, “I tried many different things in the work. “It appears through fantasy, and I was able to show many different sides of myself.” Choi Hyun-wook continued, “I showed a lot of new sides as an actor. It was a challenging work and I think it will be remembered for a long time. “Thank you for enjoying it,” he said, expressing his affection for the work.
Kim Moo-yeol said, “I was sometimes surprised while watching young actors acting. I leave with a lot of good energy. “It was a place where I could feel that working with junior actors is very precious and that there is a lot to learn,” he said, expressing his feelings about working with Nam Ji-hyun, Choi Hyun-wook, and Jeong Da-bin.
