Lee Dong-wook was interviewed by Ten Asia about the movie 'Single in Seoul' (directed by Park Beom-soo) at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 21st.
When asked about the pros and cons of being single, Lee Dong-wook laughed and said, "The biggest advantage is that I can do whatever I want. I eat when I want and sleep when I want." Lee Dong-wook, who likes to watch sports, said he likes being able to watch sports games regardless of time.
"I'm a person who really likes watching sports. I've subscribed to all paid sports channels, and I'm watching major league, MBA, and overseas tennis leagues. I'm not single, but I don't think you'll like it if you watch sports that much. I do it. “The advantage is that you can do whatever you want.”
As for the downside, “I have to be diligent,” he said with a laugh, “If I don’t do it, nothing happens.” “It’s not a disadvantage, but it’s a regret,” Lee Dong-wook said, laughing, adding that he no longer has to cook since he lives alone. “I stopped cooking. At the beginning of my life, I had that dream. I used to cook and do things like that, but I ended up throwing away a lot of ingredients. When I wanted to eat kimchi stew and went to the grocery store, I bought some pork, green onions, and onions, so I could use the ingredients later. “I end up throwing away about half of it. Also, it’s really annoying to wash the dishes after eating them all.”
'Single in Seoul' is a well-made, realistic, relatable romance that tells the story of power influencer Young-ho (Lee Dong-wook), who likes to be alone, and publisher editor-in-chief Hyun-jin (Im Soo-jeong), who hates being alone, as they create a book about single life.
It will be released on the 29th.
