‘Noryang: Deadly Sea’ is the third country to participate in the war. This is the Ming Dynasty army led by Jin Lin.

'Noryang: Deadly Sea' is a war action masterpiece depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin's final battle to completely annihilate the Japanese army trying to retreat from Joseon, seven years after the outbreak of the Japanese Invasion of Korea.

Jeong Jae-young played the role of Jin-rin, the governor of the Ming Dynasty naval forces who helped Admiral Yi Sun-sin and led the Light Combined Fleet. Jinrin's character leads a true surrender even though the end of the war is in sight, and at first appears unable to understand Yi Sun-shin, who is trying to redefine the meaning of war. As is known in history, Jinrin, who joined Yi Sun-sin's army after the Battle of Myeongnyang, began to worry between the practical interests of the Ming Dynasty and his loyalty to Yi Sun-sin in this situation.

Jinrin, who was a special character to Jeong Jae-young, who had never acted as a foreigner or in a full-fledged foreign language before, was a character who had to interpret the position of the army with a different resolve than that of Joseon and Japan. Prior to starting the work, Jaeyoung Jeong shared the process of interpreting the character, saying, "It was difficult to interpret the character Jinrin, who was constantly assumed to be Korean, by becoming only Jinrin." In particular, because he had to act in ancient Chinese, he focused on memorizing and interpreting the lines without losing tension even for a single moment during the filming. Whether in plays, movies, or dramas, Jaeyoung Jeong's know-how, which has built trust through his powerful acting, is expected to shine.
