On the 18th, KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Wedding Battle' revealed Rowoon's unique side of Shim Jung-woo, a principled man with a brilliant mind and extraordinary stubbornness.
'Wedding Battle' is a matchmaking comic melodrama about the struggles of a Joseon Dynasty sire and a maid of honor and a miner (a term used to refer to old maids and old bachelors during the Joseon Dynasty) who meet and engage in a grand wedding battle. Hanyang's most grumpy man, Shim Jeong-woo (played by Rowoon), and Jeong Soon-deok (played by Jo Yi-hyun), a widow living a double life, join forces to present the Korean version of Love Actually.
In the play, Rowoon takes on the role of Shim Jeong-woo, Joseon's most embittered man, and is expected to tackle a comical historical drama for the first time since his debut, giving viewers fresh shocks and laughter with his powerful comedic ability that is different from before.

Shim Jeong-woo, who was clutching his heart as if he was feeling chest pains, was astonished when he saw the friendly man and woman again and turned away. However, the 'eyes of truth' are soon revealed through the covered hands, leading to a reversal. There is growing interest in who the friendly man and woman that Sim Jeong-woo focused on were and how he will resolve this situation.
Meanwhile, in the 'Born to Be Confucian Boy True Colors' scene, Rowoon expressed the charming and charming Shim Jung-woo in a three-dimensional manner with a comical expression that shined with extreme realism. Rowoon made the scene into a sea of laughter as he performed passionately throughout the filming, to the point where viewers were worried and asked, "Can I use my face like this?"
