MBC's long-running entertainment show 'I Live Alone' is once again attracting attention from viewers, to the point where it is being called its 'Nth prime'. Viewership ratings are showing an increase. But now is the time to be cautious. It is necessary to look back on what the original intention was for ‘I Live Alone’ to be broadcast.
Recently, 'I Live Alone' took the opportunity to rebound in viewership ratings with the 'Palmyu Family' episode. It consists of an episode that shows the appetite of Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, and Lee Jang-woo. 'Palm Oil Seminar' Episode 475 was 8.3% (December 23), Episode 476 was 9.2% (December 30), Episode 477 was 8.8% (January 6), and the previous episode, Episode 474, was 6.8% (December 16). Viewership ratings jumped by about 2-3% compared to Sunday.
In the broadcast, Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, and Lee Jang-woo of 'Farm Uses' showed their endless appetite. They earned the nickname ‘Farm Uses’ from a broadcast in June last year. When Lee Jang-woo participated in the recording with an unusually swollen face, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, “Didn’t you eat ramen yesterday?” Park Na-rae also said, "Before filming, didn't the camera director ask Lee Jang-woo to wipe oil on his face? Lee Jang-woo was no slouch either.
Na-rae Park, who was riding her bike around the lake to empty her stomach for her next meal, was bothered by the 'toilet signal'. Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Jang-woo also collected wet tissues that they received from the plane and gave them to Park Na-rae. After eating happily, Park Na-rae cut off the ribs of the dress she was wearing with scissors with the help of Jeon Hyun-moo, saying, "The seam becomes a blade and cuts into the flesh." On their way back to Korea, they were stopped at the airport security checkpoint and had to be inspected because they had too many sauces. At the end of the seminar, Jeon Hyun-moo boasted, “The level of conversation we had was high,” and “We went from palm oil to extra virgin olive oil.”
The mukbang continued in the broadcast on the 6th. On this day's broadcast, which featured a sundae soup episode outside of the 'Palm Oil Seminar', Jeon Hyun-moo, who won the grand prize, visited his favorite sundae soup restaurant in Yangpyeong to relieve his hangover from the awards ceremony after-party.
